 The Department of Agriculture and Livestock has signed a contract under which Al Ain Mills will be granted to grind the crop of Maliha wheat farm “Seven Sanabel”.

The contract was signed by His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, and Mr. Abdullah Al Hazaa, Executive Director of Al Ain Mills, in the presence of Naji Al Shuwaihi, Director of the Support Services Department, Nada Al Muaini, Director of the Internal Audit Office, Kamal Ali from the office of the head of the department, and Ali Al Hazaa, General Manager of the Mills And Idris Al Hazaa, Director of Operations, Youssef Al Hazaa, Director of Purchasing, Omar Muhammad, Director of Personnel Affairs at Al Ain Mills, and Tariq Aziz, Advisor to Al Ain Mills, along with a number of employees of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock.

The contract stipulated the production of high-quality “Seven Sanabel” flour from the crop of the wheat farm in Maliha, and the transportation, storage and production of flour according to international specifications and standards, in addition to transporting the crop from the farm to the mills and sales outlets that are contracted by the department, and packaging and preserving it during transportation in accordance with To the internationally applicable storage specifications, the provision of qualified and required labor for the production of flour, and the maintenance of security and safety systems in accordance with the applicable laws, in addition to conducting laboratory tests and approved specifications for the “Saba Sanabel” flour product.

His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, said: The signing of the contract to grind “Seven Sanabel” flour with Al Ain Mills comes in the context of the vital partnership with the private sector, to enhance the level of efficiency in carrying out high-quality work, in order to achieve preference for “Seven Sanabel” flour according to the highest standards. International standards, in addition to opening prospects for cooperation with all sectors, to promote sustainable development in Sharjah, which is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in encouraging the private sector to adopt agricultural projects, and promoting sustainable private agricultural investment leadership. 

He added: The partnership with Al Ain Mills aims in this aspect because of their great practical experience based on knowledge and competitiveness, pointing to the need to move towards a new development model that is more open and advanced in line with the strategic vision of the department in establishing partnerships with the private sector. With the aim of developing investment in the field of agricultural and animal production; To achieve vital food security with all concerned parties.

For his part, Abdullah Al Hazaa, Executive Director of Al Ain Mills, said: We congratulate His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for the success of the wheat-growing season at Maliha Farm in Sharjah. It was produced by national hands according to the highest international standards, adding that this cooperation comes between the government and private sectors, to provide best practices according to international standards.
